Tre Tampere region

At the crossroads
of logistics routes

Two thirds of Finns live within a 200-kilometre radius of Tampere and this area encompasses almost all of the largest cities in the country and most of the demand for goods and services.

In terms of traffic, the Tampere Region is a hub of the most important motorways and railways in Finland. Located in the middle of industrial Western Finland, it is at the crossroads of companies’ goods flows and has rapid road and rail connections to all of the largest ports.

Tampere-Pirkkala airport is the second largest airport in the country for international flights.
In spring 2009, it has direct connections from Stockholm, Riga, Dublin, London, Frankfurt, Bremen, Milan and Helsinki.
